  1. runtime: 800mah 18350 with stretch turned off and 2.8v battery protection on
stretchtime: 800mah 18350 with stretch on, declining at 3.2 and stopping at 2.8
stretch combines [continuous output level] + [gradually declinding output]
for larger cells, divide mah by 800 (3400/800 = 4.25), then multiply by [time]
  2. values for initial settings, channels can be changed or disabled
values are for XPL, 219B values are less (21w max)
  3. lumens: rated from the LED, at 25C. OTF will be less
  4. to maximize longevity, change your cells at 3.2 (when stretch starts to dim)

Screen Programmer:

  1. Put your flashlight into programming mode, this is done with a sequence: tap-tap  pause  tap-tap  pause  tap-tap  pause  ON
  2. Get a feel for the rate for changing modes. Go at this speed or a bit faster for the tap-taps. For the pause time, double the time (half the rate) that you did with the tap time. If mode 3 is coming on, lengthen the pause a bit.
  3. So you want: mode1, mode2, pause, mode1, mode2, pause, mode1, mode2, pause, ON. Extra tip: you want 3 consecutive pairs, not necessarily 3 from start. So if 3 pairs doesn't do it, go for 4-6 pairs.
  4. Solid red low output shows your light is ready to receive a new program. This is not as bright as standard red. Its normal to start flashing bright red if left in programming mode and will not affect the process.
  5. Open our programming page on your favorite computer or device
  6. Make or log into your lux-rc account, this is seperate from
Make or load your configuration. Changes are autosaved once named.
  7. Click 'save and program'
  8. Click 'program' or 'download as video'. Video supports more systems but uses more bandwith. For off grid programming, download as video and then save the video to your device.
  9. Set your screen to max brightness
  10. Hold your flashlight up to the flashing square on the screen, long enough to read a complete green••••green sequence. Red turns off when your new program is loaded. If red stays on after several green••••green sequences, go back to step 7 and choose the video option on step 8.
  11. Turn off your flashlight
  12. Test out your new configuration with both one and two cells

Programmable Features:

  1. 0.18 lumen low: (weeks of candle bright runtime)
  2. 3500 lumen high: near 20,000x higher higher high than lowest low
  3. Battery swap mode groups (independent 1 and 2 cell modes)
  4. As few as 1 mode per group (1+1) and up to 4 per group (4+4)
  5. Program modes from among 33 white levels plus red (3+1 LEDs)
  6. SOS, strobe, and beacon (defaults are off).
Beacon can be red or white with adjustable timing
  7. Mode memory: Off - On - Hybrid (default is off)
Hybrid stores the last mode but cycles from mode 1 on the next change
  8. Battery stretch starts reducing output at 3.2v, down to 0.5w (default on)
Until overdischarge protection kicks in at 2.8v (default is on)
  9. Bounce protection switches to red when to much light is reflected
It also gives you direct access to red, as a 9th (4+4+1) mode (default off)
  10. Supports 1x ICR/IMR, 2x ICR/IMR, 2x CR123 (CR123 selected in advance)
CR123 reduces output, changes stretch to 2.25v, & disables overdischarge

Universal Features:

  1. Custom high effeciency boost driver and board
  2. Dual light channels, 30w (3x white) + 7ma (1x color)
  3. No PWM - sound and flicker free operation at all power levels
  4. Input voltage range from 2.5v to 8.8v (1-2 cells)
  5. Fully qualified between -40 and 248F (-40 and 120C)
  6. Reversed battery polarity protection
  7. Under and over voltage protection (2.5/8.8v)
  8. Adaptive temperature control (reduces output only 1/33rd as needed)
  9. Integrated thermal safety protection at 65C (149F)
  10. Integrated thermal overheating protection at 120C (248F)
  11. Shock proof materials, components, and design
  12. Suitable for use in weapon mounted lights
