Insider #17 MultiCam Surefire, Peak & HDS Clips, O ring/Bumpers

Welcome to the 17th OVEREADY Insider, just in time for the weekend!

First up are several O ring updates.

Our normal third body O ring began as the one provided by Lighthound.

Sized the same as the second body O ring (provided by the factory), it seemed a natural choice.

Over time, it became clear that this added to much friction to the tailcap (particularly with twisties).

The few models that come with 3 rings from the factory (9P and M2) have a smaller third ring.

So we changed over.  All hosts, bodies, and O ring kits now come with a smaller third O ring:

The best way to tell what size you have is to remove both tailcap rings from the body and compare them.

If its the new size, one will be almost small enough to fit inside the other.

All owners of OVEREADY hosts and bodies may request a new ring, for only the cost of shipping or free with your next order. Just request it in your order notes.

Since our very first bore, every host/body has included a shelf, keeping the battery in the tube when taking off the bezel.

Long term testing shows that when lights are repeatedly dropped head first, the wrapper on your batteries can become damaged.

So we are now adding a battery bumper to all hosts and bodies:

All owners of OVEREADY hosts and bodies may request Battery Bumpers, for only the cost of shipping or free with your next order.  Just request it in your order notes.

When creating the HARDpress kit, we optimized the boots fit with the addition of a small spacer ring.

Testing shows benefits when using the ring with softpress configurations as well.

So we are now adding them to all McClicky kits (loose and installed).

The best way to tell if you have one is to remove the tailcap from the body, then unscrew the brass ring from the tailcap.

On the right below is how the spacer looks installed:

All owners of McClicky kits may request them, for only the cost of shipping or free with your next order.  Just request it in your order notes.
Next up are new, renewed clips.

Our popular HDS/Z59 clip is again ready to ship, this time in solid stainless steel:

If you’d like to see a black version, please reply to this email.  It would cost a bit more.

Also ready to ship is our first (and the first ever) Peak Logal clip, in solid stainless steel.

Now even the smallets of 123 lights can ride at the top of your pocket.

Attchement requires the Long body:

Our Camo has gone full scale.

Unlike typical industrial applications, which repeat patterns,

making each item the same, our MultiCam application is hand controled, applied one light at a time.

This means that what colors go where, and with which pattern, is unqiue to each light, as you can see here:

Continuing the glossless finish, we are now able to dial-in the amount grippy surface grain we would like.

The spacing on this batches grain is a bit tigher than the first batch, balancing grip with easier cleaning.

Ready to ship are the…
