Taller Retaining Ring for DPC Tailcap (black)

Description

When we introduced DPC tailcaps, boots were limited to flat SP and HP options. The original DPC retaining ring (shown left) was optimized for this shape. When we later introduced rounder medium press boots, original retaining rings were no longer tall enough for stable tailstanding. So we created a taller retaining right (shown right) that gives MP boots more headroom:

 

We made extra of the newer taller retaining rings in black. These support stable tailstanding with taller MP boots on the older tailcaps. If you have one of these original DPC tailcaps and experience wobbly tailstanding with your mediumpress boot, order from this page with or without a new softpress boot.
