  1. TorchLAB BOSS decides its own max output. Every use its output is controlled in real time by temperature and voltage monitors
the hotter the environment and less the airflow, the lower the output and the longer the runtime. the colder the environment and the more the airflow, the higher the output and the shorter your runtime
  2. values for initial settings, channels can be changed or disabled (values are for XPL, 219C values are less (24w max))
  3. lumens rated from the LED, at 25C. OTF will be less
  4. stretch and battery protection turned on, see FG for more examples

Screen Programmer

Screen Programmer

  1. Put your flashlight into programming mode, this is done with a sequence: tap-tap  pause  tap-tap  pause  tap-tap  pause  ON
  2. Get a feel for the rate for changing modes. Go at this speed or a bit faster for the tap-taps. For the pause time, double the time (half the rate) that you did with the tap time. If mode 3 is coming on, lengthen the pause a bit.
  3. So you want: mode1, mode2, pause, mode1, mode2, pause, mode1, mode2, pause, ON. Extra tip: you want 3 consecutive pairs, not necessarily 3 from start. So if 3 pairs doesn’t do it, go for 4-6 pairs.
  4. Solid red low output shows your light is ready to receive a new program. This is not as bright as standard red. Its normal to start flashing bright red if left in programming mode and will not affect the process.
  5. Open our programming page on your favorite computer or device
  6. Make or log into your lux-rc account, this is separate from OVEREADY.com
Make or load your configuration. Changes are autosaved once named.
  7. Click ‘save and program’
  8. Click ‘program’ or ‘download as video’. Video supports more systems but uses more bandwidth. For off-grid programming, download as video and then save the video to your device.
  9. Set your screen to max brightness
  10. Hold your flashlight up to the flashing square on the screen, long enough to read a complete green••••green sequence. Red turns off when your new program is loaded. If red stays on after several green••••green sequences, go back to step 7 and choose the video option in step 8.
  11. Turn off your flashlight.

Programmable Board Features:

Programmable Board Features:

  1. Four mode pages with independent modes, levels and pin settings (4 PIN)
  2. 4+4 battery count switching or 8 sequential modes per page (334 PIN)
  3. Double click (337 PIN) with choice between final mode and previous mode (336 PIN)
  4. 0.18 lumen low: (weeks of candle bright runtime)
  5. 3500 lumen high: near 20,000x higher higher high than lowest low
  6. Program modes from among 33 white levels plus red (3+1 LEDs)
  7. SOS, strobe, and beacon (defaults are off).
Beacon can be red or white with adjustable timing

  9. Battery stretch starts reducing output at 3.2v, down to 0.5w (default on)
Until over-discharge protection kicks in at 2.8v (default is on)
  10. Bounce protection switches to red when too much light is reflected
It also gives you direct access to red, as a 9th (4+4+1) mode (default off)
  11. Supports 1x ICR/IMR, 2x ICR/IMR, 2x CR123 (2x CR123 selected in advance)
    2x CR123 mode reduces output, changes stretch to 2.25v, & disables over-discharge
  12. CR123 can be used in emergencies without advanced programming.
Just limit use to RDLM modes (levels 22 and 25 – under 5 watts per cell)
