Welcome to OVEREADY Insider 75

INTRO  – We hope that you and yours are safe and well. We’re all well and doing our best to turn lemons into lemonade, lemon meringue, lemon squares, lemon drops… no really, better than spending this time twiddling our thumbs we got to work on your BOSS wish list! The next generation triple interface is here. And includes 8 modes, double click to last/previous mode, and page files with 4 independent flashlight personalities in every 5.1 triple flashlight. GenKraid has pulled out his beverage and camera and shown how its done, just click here for video introductions to all major 5.1 features! Continue reading for a technical introduction and scroll down to see and purchase Oveready’s newest lights.

MODES – Your most requested feature is more modes, so top of the list is 8 sequential modes, giving you plenty of room for solid white levels plus special modes. But we noticed that this many modes makes it a chore to reach the later modes in the sequence. So we also created a new double click function compatible with even forward clicky switches. Configured for last mode (it can also be set to previous mode), you can double click from off or from any other mode and get direct operation to the last mode in your sequence. So in a 12345678 setup with 1 being red and 8 being full power, you single tap for red or double tap for high or start with your favorite walking level then off then double tap to 8 (high). Then off-double click again to jump from high directly back the mode you were just in!

PAGES – You also told us how you enjoy changing from 1 cell to 2 cell configurations (dual mode groups) but wanted this option without the need to swap cells or even needing 2 batteries. So we’ve created Page Files. Four fully independent mode configurations, with a new single digit 4 pin that activates a series of all LED flashes: •  ••  •••  ••••.  Stop on the page number you want and get that pages configuration. Default Page 1 and 2 are 8 modes, Page 3 is 4+4 modes (just like 5.0) and Page 4 is our popular tactical high only with hidden medium. So you can take your 5.1 Triple E Head from a weapons mounted Scout body directly over to an EDC E setup. Then just switch from Page 4 to Page 1 to change from dedicated high over to 12345678 modes that still also offers hidden high via double click. And every Page File is independently programmable and supports up to 8 modes each, giving you 32 addressable modes on every 5.1 setup.

PETE – So what to install this in. We’ve upgraded our entire triple inventory to 5.1 with immediate availability of several existing configurations. With more configurations following later in the year. Getting things started today, we are pleased to announce a collaboration with metal artist Pete Gray of Gray Precision, who treated a limited edition set of 5 brass and 5 copper BOSS, to his own distressed finish. To which we have added titanium hardware, color treated to compliment the brass and copper on which it sits:

Ready to ship in BOSS 35 copper and brass:

And BOSS 70 copper and brass:

We’ve also added a new blue hardware option to standard Satin Black 70:
